Reading and writing can be a struggle for visual learners. Visual thinking is a right-brain process. It’s fast. It’s instantaneous, intuitive and natural. Reading is all about the left side of the brain and is much slower, more cumbersome and less comfortable for visual thinkers. It can be done but it takes a lot more effort for our visual kids. Writing, also a left-brain process, presents a similar struggle, in reverse, for our visual students.
