Young Rembrandts Brings Art Education to Michaels Stores
I have been a long time fan of Michaels stores. Over the years, I have spent a lot of time searching their store aisles for art and craft materials for my kids and myself. And I am now delighted to say – the folks at Michaels are fans of Young Rembrandts!
Michaels Stores across the U.S. and Canada are equipped with classrooms and offer a variety of art and craft classes for adults. And while they offer a variety of crafting activities for kids, they want to expand their art education offerings. Michaels has invited Young Rembrandts into their stores to be the education component of their kids programs.
Young Rembrandts teaches children how to draw using a carefully designed curriculum and well-trained instructors. We believe every child can and should learn to draw – it’s just a matter of being taught how. Drawing is the fundamental skill of visual art, and knowing how to draw enables kids to continue participating in the arts with increased confidence and ability. Learning to draw with Young Rembrandts also has a profound affect on your child’s learning and study skills. But kids think it’s all about doing art and having fun!
Young Rembrandts’ Program Directors and instructors across the country are honored by this opportunity to partner with Michaels stores. Wherever there’s a Young Rembrandts franchisee, there are classes and workshops being scheduled for summer. We hope you’ll check out the class offering at a Michaels store near you and have your kids come and learn to draw with us.
Come and see us at the Michaels Open House, Saturday May 19th! Visit a store near you for more information.
