Back to School Undrained
We’ve spent the summer working to prevent the summer learning loss that we affectionately refer to as “Brain Drain.” But as summer vacation draws to a close, what if we use these same tools to get back into the swing of school?
Many of the ideas that I have shared with you throughout the summer are excellent tools for your visual learner to use throughout the school year to reinforce those new concepts that they will inevitably be learning, and possibly having difficulty grasping.
From a few minutes a day working with literacy apps to shore up those phonics and word skills to helping cook dinner with you to reinforce those math and science concepts, keeping it fun and conceptual is the key to helping your visual learner succeed.
In case you missed some of my posts on ways to prevent summer learning loss, they are all listed below. Just click on the picture to take you to each tool or list of activities.
