Who Is a Visual Learner?
Visual Learners are some of our favorite people. Here are some of the reasons why :
Vibrant – Visual learners have a special spark about them. They’re vibrant, enthusiastic and full of life.
Intelligent– There’s a unique kind of intelligence in the right side of the brain and our most visionary inventors, influencers and world changers have been and are visual learners.
Spatial – The right side of the brain is home to spatial thinking, that enables us to understand size, shapes, space and physical relationships, often leading to giftedness in math and science.
Underappreciated – Schools measure and value the left side of the brain, leaving the right side undervalued and underappreciated. Visual learners often go unnoticed and underserved.
Artistic – Visual learners have to make art. It’s how they express themselves. It’s what gives them pleasure. It feed and fuels their brain.
Lively – There’s a party going on in the right side of the mind and it’s exciting, energetic and full of life.
Lucky – Being a visual thinker has tremendous advantages and while we can all learn to tap into our creative side, visual learners do it with ease.
Expressive- the right side is home to our moods and emotions. Visual people understand and relate well to others, while being able to share the more personal side of them.
Adventurous – Visuals are innovative trailblazers. They’re full of ideas and can’t resist exploring and sharing them.
Right-Brained – Visual thinking happens in the right side of the brain. It’s where creativity, innovation, multiple solutions, relational, spatial thinking happens.
Numerous – Visual learners are everywhere and every age. The longer we’re in school the more we’ve been trained to think with our left side, but once a visual, you’re always a visual.
Enthusiastic – Visual people are so full of ideas and creativity; they can’t help but be enthusiastic and excited about all the possibilities they can imagine.
Revered – Visual, innovative, creative, flexible, inventive thinking is very sought after. The more we understand our own strengths as visual thinkers, the more we and others will value and appreciate who we are.
