10 Educational Activities for Fall
The summer heat has lifted, and now is the perfect time to be outdoors exploring and learning with your family! Fall is such an amazing season for learning and creativity. The changing leaves, falling temperatures and of course, harvests are such a great opportunity for creative exploration. Are you on the hunt for activities to do? I have made a list of fall educational activities. Check out these inexpensive activities below to do with your family this fall.
- Practice measurement and estimate the age of a tree.
- Go apple picking and use some apples for an apple experiment.
- Identify the leaves in your area.
- Find out why leaves change color
- Go on a nature walk and collect leaves for a leaf crown
- Set up a pine cone weather station.
- Explore chemical reactions with this hopping corn experiment
- Take a couple minutes to draw with Young Rembrandts
- Use some of the fallen leaves of Autumn to make leaf lanterns.
- Put an Autumn spin on a classic science experiment with pumpkin slime.
