Young Rembrandts Teaching Treasures
Along with being an author and speaker, I have a ‘side job’ as the CEO of Young Rembrandts Franchise, an art enrichment program for kids 3 to 12 years old. After teaching thousands of children how to draw in the Chicago suburbs, we became a franchise company eleven years ago. Now, there are Program Directors across the country and internationally, that hire and train remarkable individuals to teach art to children, using the Young Rembrandts method.
Over the past few months, I have had the pleasure of meeting with groups of Young Rembrandts teachers and am delighted to say that the same passion that launched Young Rembrandts so many years ago still lives in our much-expanded teaching staff. Whenever passionate teachers gather, conversation is filled with stories from the classroom; stories of patience, endurance and delight in the success children achieve. Good teachers are committed to do whatever it takes to guide the children in their care, to success in learning and confidence about who they are and what they can accomplish.
I have been eternally blessed to spend my life working with and for children; their whole lives are ahead of them and the answer to our future. I want to thank all educators today, Young Rembrandts and classroom teachers alike, you are treasures… thank you for your passion and dedication to children.
