News in Franchise Development
This March will mark our 26th year of operating Young Rembrandts drawing classes. And while some things get better with age – other things need refreshing and updating over the years. Technology and marketing are two of the things that need regular refreshing and updating. A few years ago we invested in a new website for Young Rembrandts classes that included the most up to date online enrollment technology – all for the convenience of our parents. Today I’m excited to announce the release of a second new website dedicated to Young Rembrandts franchise sales; www.youngrembrandtsfranchise.com.
My first drawing classes were held at the kitchen table in the spring of 1988. I loved working with those students and discovering the joy of using art to empower and build self confidence. One class grew to two, and on from there. It was great part time work that provided some supplemental income, but as word spread, it became a full time pursuit. After a few years, my husband left his corporate career so we could grow the business together while raising our four kids. We had a great time, grew a great business and touched a lot of lives – which we are enormously thankful for. Eventually we franchised our business and now have franchisees operating in over 30 states and 4 continents. Over the years, we’ve met men and women from all different backgrounds in “Corporate America” looking for a way to balance their home and work life, while searching for a business that allows them to give to their community. We are honored so many have found that in Young Rembrandts and together we are able to reach so many children worldwide.
As we launch our new Franchise website, I want to thank everyone who has been part of this 26 year journey; our staff, franchisees, instructors, parents and most of all the children. We have been so blessed to work with thousands and thousands of students over the years and have enjoyed spreading the joy of art across the globe. And we look forward to more and more of what lies ahead.
