Family Activities: A Trip to Disneyworld
Writing Being Visual and bringing it to market has been a long process. The research, writing, editing and design processes have been an adventure ripe with self-growth and revelations, but I must say – I’m exhausted! My friends, family and professional associates are excited to see Being Visual on Amazon, but now they’re asking, “What’s next ?”
So, what is next…?
We’re going to Disneyworld! (do you see the Super Bowl confetti pouring down around me?)
After a long stretch of intensely working and writing a book, I promised myself a treat. For me, the treat I know of is to spend time playing with my family. So my husband and I are taking three of our adult children and our grandson, Brayden, to Disneyworld. We think five adults to one four year old is a ratio for success. Our own kids are excited to relive childhood memories, while making new ones, and we’re all looking forward to seeing the park through the eyes of a four year old. But most of all we are looking forward to just being together.
Through Disneyworld, Disneyland and movies, cartoon characters, and all things Disney; visual, dyslexic, creative Walt, has delighted millions and millions of people over the years. He left behind an incredible legacy and testament to what can happen when we know how to bring our imaginations to life.
I invite you to keep reading and sharing your thoughts on the Being Visual blog, while I enjoy family time and immerse myself in all things Disney.
