Why Make Your Halloween Costume?
Halloween is a great time for your visual learner to show off her creative side. Planning and executing the costume making process is the perfect opportunity for your visual learner’s right brain abilities to shine.
Pre-made costumes from the store are expensive and popular so everyone will be wearing them. Challenge your right brain thinker to come up with a costume that is sure to be unique to her. If you have a Goodwill near you, that is a great place to get some inspiration. With a few items from around the house and a couple more from the store, the possibilities are endless for what she can come up with.
Here are also a few simple last minute DIY ideas if you run out of time.
Find some white clothes and electrical tape and be a stick figure.
Cardboard and a favorite dress makes a wind up doll.
You probably have everything you need to be an artist.
Just some pretty fabric and foam board from the dollar store makes this paper doll costume.
This bank robber costume can be made with stuff you already have at home.

A few socks and a sweatshirt make this scary spider.
Your kid won’t even need to change out of his uniform to be Jake from State Farm.
